Derrick Rose officially traded to the knicks







The Knicks gained Derrick Rose from the Bulls on Wednesday, trusting the previous NBA MVP can be their answer at point watch. 

New York exchanged focus Robin Lopez, watch Jose Calderon and watchman Jerian Grant to Chicago, which delivered monitor Justin Holiday, Rose and a 2017 second-round pick back to the Knicks. 

A Chicago local, Rose was drafted by the Bulls with the No. 1 general select of Memphis in 2008. A source near Rose said he was extremely passionate in regards to leaving Chicago on account of all his awesome recollections there yet that he needed the huge phase of New York. 

When Rose got word the Bulls were hoping to exchange him, the source said, he trusted it would be to the Knicks. 

"His first decision was New York," the source said. "He needs the spotlight." 

Bulls executive Jerry Reinsdorf called the exchange a "hard one" to make. 

"Everybody knows him as the neighborhood kid who got to be MVP for the place where he grew up group, yet not everybody became acquainted with him as I did," Reinsdorf said in an announcement. "While he is a stupendous b-ball player, he is a stunningly better individual with a colossal heart."
